I haven’t wrote a blog in the last few days . In my previous blogs , I talked about how we need to give ourselves a little break. Well I have being going through life things and other things came up. So…I had to put my dreams and blog to the side for a few days. I wasn’t very hard on myself for it because, being hard on myself about it would have discouraged me to fail or stress out. Don’t pack yourself full of things to do. Things will work themselves out. Life happens!
Push yourself but learn how to rest when needed …
It’s hard to get motivation. So that’s what I mean by push yourself! Push yourself to get those dishes done , push yourself do the laundry and chase the dream job you have always wanted. After all dreams don’t chase themselves, right? We have to put in the work. Putting in the work is not easy. So, push yourself but also learn how to rest. You don’t want to over exhaust yourself. Over exhausting yourself can make you want to give up completely. If you are feeling tired sit down, take a break. It’s important to succeed but, it is also important to take care of yourself . Find a healthy balance and go with it…
Reach for the stars!
If you want something , go for it! My whole life , I have let people discourage me. Why though? Am I really going to get ahead in life if I keep caring about others little opinions or listening to their discouraging words? We can’t keep letting peoples opinions on our goals discourage us for going after everything we’ve ever wanted. I have a dream to sell my artwork. I have a dream to be in love with my job, something I have wanted my whole life. We cannot keep making small excuses! There is time , plenty of time. We have to make time and ignore those witty comments. We must reach for the stars!
Wake up , say something positive!
Hello there , you know those days when you wake up and you want to go right back to sleep? The ones where you have that thought to yourself “This day already sucks” or “What’s even the point”. Well, I have a thought. If we wake up and have that thought, let’s try to help ourselves by stating a positive statement instead. For example, we could say “This is going to be a good day”. By saying it out loud, it will help you think more positive. I know not everyday will it be easy for us to stay positive. I have many bad days. Sometimes many in a week, in a month, in a year etc. All we can do is try our best to stay positive. One day at a time, if you cannot shake it today… tomorrow is a new day!

Living with C-PTSD
What is Complex – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ? Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or (C-PTSD), is a disorder developed by some people and is caused by ongoing months or years of abuse. Having C-PTSD can often lead to impairment of relationship and a difficult time living life. As this all is true , I am here to say , I too suffer from C-PTSD. I am not a therapist , I am human . Just like you! We once lived a very scary life and now we question everything about it, correct? I think we need to tell ourselves that we are still human , that the person or people who once hurt us , they didn’t steal our identity. We are still who we were before we developed C-PTSD. And to that I say. Happiness is the best revenge!
Push yourself!
When we want something . Do we have what it takes to make that happen? What does it mean to “push yourself”? Pushing yourself doesn’t mean push until you are exhausted and on the verge of a mental breakdown. Pushing yourself means that , if you get alittle bit of anxiety , and in the back of your head you are telling yourself “no I cannot do this it is to stressful” . You can try changing that statement to “This might be hard to do but , I can do it” or “this may take some time but, could have a positive outcome in the long run.” I sat debating for a few hours myself about if I actually wanted to take the leap in faith and start my own blog …. here I am now , writing this. You can do it!
